rpcs3 Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

Vita3K Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: Vita3KVita3K Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.

Snes9x Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: Snes9xSnes9x Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Snes9x is the result of well over three years worth of part-time hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, divorce, etc. (just kidding about the divorce bit). Snes9x is coded in C++, with three assembler CPU emulation cores on the i386 Linux and Windows ports.

PCSX-Redux Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

melonDS Git (2024/09/07)

DuckStation Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

SkyEmu Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR:SkyEmu SkyEmu Git (2024/09/07) is released. SkyEmu is a low level GameBoy, GameBoy Color and Game Boy Advance emulator. Its primary focus is to provide a good user experience through a good mixture of tradeoffs of accuracy, performance, features and usability.

FB Neo Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

PPSSPP Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

OpenMSX Git (2024/09/07 )

EmuCR:OpenMSX OpenMSX Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.

mGBA Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

DaedalusX64 Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: DaedalusX64DaedalusX64 Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. DaedalusX64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator for Linux and PSP, with plans to port to Windows, Mac, PS Vita among other platforms. The PSP port is noteworthy for being the fastest N64 emulator ever on the platform, achieving close to or even full speed in many titles.

BizHawk Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: BizHawkBizHawk Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

XRoar v1.6.2

XRoar v1.6.2 is released. XRoar is a Dragon emulator for Linux, Unix, OS X, GP32, Nintendo DS and Windows. Due to hardware similarities, XRoar also emulates the Tandy Colour Computer (CoCo) models 1 & 2.

QEMU v9.1.0

EmuCR: QEMUQEMU v9.1.0 is released. QEMU is a generic and open source machine emulator and virtualizer.When used as a machine emulator, QEMU can run OSes and programs made for one machine (e.g. an ARM board) on a different machine (e.g. your own PC). By using dynamic translation, it achieves very good performances.When used as a virtualizer, QEMU achieves near native performances by executing the guest code directly on the host CPU. A host driver called the QEMU accelerator (also known as KQEMU) is needed in this case. The virtualizer mode requires that both the host and guest machine use x86 compatible processors.

Altirra v4.30 Test 21

EmuCR:AltirraAltirra v4.20 Test 21 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.

pfeMame v2.31.4

EmuCR: pfeMamepfeMame v2.31.4 is released. pfeMame is a front end for the Multiple Arcade Game Emulator (MAME) written in Python. It is cross platform (tested on Linux - Ubuntu and Windows XP). It also includes a graphical Tile View designed for MAME cabinets which allows control using joystick / gamepad. pfeMame was written by Gareth Finch and started in 2014.

EmuCR: higanhigan (2024/09/04) is released. higan is a multi-system emulator, originally developed by Near, with an uncompromising focus on accuracy and code readability. It currently emulates the following systems: Famicom, Famicom Disk System, Super Famicom, Super Game Boy, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Player, SG-1000, SC-3000, Master System, Game Gear, Mega Drive, Mega CD, PC Engine, SuperGrafx, MSX, MSX2, ColecoVision, Neo Geo Pocket, Neo Geo Pocket Color, WonderSwan, WonderSwan Color, SwanCrystal, Pocket Challenge V2.

RetroBat v6.3.1

EmuCR: RetroBatRetroBat v6.3.1 is released. RetroBat is a set of Batch and Powershell scripts written to easily configure and launch EmulationStation for Windows. This frontend software is intended to gather your ROMs collection and run games with compatible emulators such as RetroArch. RetroBat can download and install all the softwares you need to have a good retrogaming experience on your PC. RetroBat is designed to run in Portable Mode. It means that you can either start it from HDD or from any removable storage device, as long as you do it on a computer that meets the requirements.

Wine v9.17

EmuCR:WineWine v9.17 is released. Wine is a project to allow a PC running a Unix-like operating system and the X Window System to run x86 programs for Microsoft Windows. Alternately, those wishing to port a Windows application to a Unix-like system can compile it against the Wine libraries.

WinVICE r45332

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE r45332 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

Xenia Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).

Supermodel Git (2024/09/06)

EmuCR: SupermodelSupermodel Git (2024/09/06) is released. Supermodel emulates Sega's Model 3 arcade platform, allowing you to relive state-of-the-art 3D arcade gaming as it existed from 1996 through 1999. It uses OpenGL, SDL2, and can run on Windows, Linux, and macOS. It also supports network play on low-latency network connections. The source code is freely available under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

PCSX2 v2.1.127

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 v2.1.127 is released. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

Mesen2 Git (2024/09/07)

EmuCR: MesenMesen2 Git (2024/09/07) is compiled. Mesen is a NES/Famicom emulator and NSF player. It is still a work in progress - some features are currently incomplete or may change in future versions.

Lime3DS 2118

EmuCR: Lime3DSLime3DS 2118 is released. Lime3DS is a project which aims to revive Citra, the most popular open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator. It is written in C++ with portability in mind and builds are actively maintained for Windows, Linux, Android, and macOS.
