GameEx v14.51 is released. GameEx is a graphical DirectX based front-end for MAME, Zinc, Daphne, PC Games, and all command line based game emulators, along with being a good Home Theatre PC solution. It also makes a good CarPC and touchscreen frontend. The original goal was for it to be used on Windows XP Media Center and Arcade Cabinets although it will run on any version of Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP and Vista. GameEx v14.51 Changelog:
This release has improved support for MAME software lists with improved artwork and GameEx database matching. Software lists can be used by selecting a MAME xml file under advanced emulator settings in the Setup Wizard.
With this release there is a new stream feature in GameEx Online to stream your desktop. This does have limitiations in that it won't stream apps and GameEx if they are running Direct3D in full screen exclusive mode but that is a pretty normal limitation on windows. Maybe in the future it will be possible.
