I had an error message after downloading this build:
ReplyDelete"This Application has failed to start because MSVCR110.dll was not found."
I downloaded the .dll file and put it into system32 folder, and now everytime I run the DeSmuMe.exe it always show an error message like this:
"The procedure entry point_crtCreateSymbolicLinkW could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR110.dll."
I never had a problem like this from the previous build, any idea what caused it? I'm using x86 system. Thanks.
I think you need Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012
DeleteDownload other MSVCR110.dll file.
DeleteYOU caused it, by downloading files instead of installing the Visual C++ redestributable.
ReplyDeleteI got this after downloaded....
ReplyDeleteDesmume.exe is not a valid 32 bit application
I thinks is 64 bit when download 32 bit Desmume.....
Sorry. This time I compile it with VS2012.
DeleteVS 2012 applications cannot be run under Windows XP.
WHAT???? Newest VS2012 program only on Windows Vista, 7 and 8?
DeleteRIP.... Better stick with previous SVN forever..... :(
OR... Wait for version 0.99 soon! :)
Upgrade to Windows 7 or better - unfortunately Windows XP is outdated.
DeleteCompile with VS2012 update 1 it adds XP support.
Deleteinstall update 1 and change the toolset to v110_xp
DeleteUpgrade to Windows 7 or better
ReplyDeleteWhat's better? Windows 8 certainly isn't, expecially if you're jumping from XP. Go for 7, pretend 8 never existed and hope 9 is built for desktops not tablets.
ReplyDeleteWell I never said go to 8 (it is not so good). Windows 7 out performs Windows XP across the board.
DeleteI got the MSVCP error to with all VS 2005 through 2010 both x86 and x64 using Win 8 x64
ReplyDeleteAll other crap installed, Direct X, Games for Windows Live, all the .Net useless crap.
What does VS 2012 install that I need?
Never Mind, just installed
ReplyDeleteMicrosoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64) - 11.0.51106 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86) - 11.0.51106
All's well
Thanks, I can run the program after I downloaded and installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Update 1. :D
ReplyDeleteWe will not be supporting these builds on the desmume forum - we cannot guarantee compatibility with vs2012.
ReplyDeleteSVN 4495 is out now! Make sure Windows XP must supported by using VS2010 or VS2012 Update 1.
ReplyDeleteI put all dll but The instructions of "blah blah blah" error keep popping up.
