rpcs3 Git (2024/05/10)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2024/05/10) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

PCSX2 Git (2024/05/10)

Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

Snes9x Git (2024/05/10)

EmuCR: Snes9xSnes9x Git (2024/05/10) is compiled. Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Snes9x is the result of well over three years worth of part-time hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, divorce, etc. (just kidding about the divorce bit). Snes9x is coded in C++, with three assembler CPU emulation cores on the i386 Linux and Windows ports.

PCSX-Redux Git (2024/05/10)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2024/05/10) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

puNES Git (2024/05/10)

EmuCR: puNESpuNES Git (2024/05/10) is compiled. puNES is a NES emulator. Currently the program supports mappers 0, MMC1, UNROM, CNROM, and the sound is available. It uses the SDL libraries and it works on both Linux and Windows.

Project64 Git (2024/05/10)

EmuCR: Project 64Project64 Git (2024/05/10) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.

NanoBoyAdvance Git (2024/05/10)

EmuCR NanoBoyAdvanceNanoBoyAdvance Git (2024/05/10) is compiled. NanoboyAdvance is a Nintendo Game Boy Advance (TM) emulator written in C++17. The goal is to create a minimal, accurate and reasonably efficient Game Boy Advance emulator in modern C++. The emulator implements the core hardware completely and with high accuracy. Almost all games can be emulated without any known issues, even the 'Classic NES' titles which abuse a variety of edge-cases and undefined behaviour.

DuckStation Git (2024/05/10)

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2024/05/10) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

Nestopia Cheat Code Pack (2024/05/08)

Nestopia UE (Undead Edition) is a fork of the original source code, with enhancements from members of the emulation community. This is a cheat code pack for the Nestopia emulator. The goal is to keep this pack up-to-date and be as meticulous as possible.

AMSpiriT v1.01

AMSpiriT v1.01 is released. AMSpiriT is an Amstrad CPC emulator for Windows with a strong focus on accuracy. On the OS side, AMSpiriT is ready to be used with all the system and BASIC ROMs that have been marketed by AMSTRAD PLC and Locomotive Software. (English, French, Spanish and Danish ROMs). AMSpiriT emulates the cassette player through the reading of sound recordings in "WAV" or "CDT" format and emulates the floppy disk player through the reading of files in DSK format (standard and extended format).

EmuCR:RomVault RomVault v3.7.1 is released. RomVault is a new rom management tool. RomVault should be seen as an alternative to clrmame pro with some nice and new features that could make it perfect for managing large numbers of dats / collections using less time (one scan vs N dats a time instead of one scan for each dat) and giving you a nice easy to use GUI.

Nostlan v2.5

EmuCR: NostlanNostlan v2.5 is released. Nostlan is a high quality front-end launcher for video game emulators! Available on Linux, macOS, and Windows! A front-end or user interface (UI) is the presentation and interaction layer of an app or website. Most modern emulator apps have basic game list UIs that you can interact with using a mouse/keyboard but not a game controller. Nostlan looks similar to media viewers like Kaleidescape and AppleTV. You can interact with it using a mouse or game controller. Unlike other popular front-end launchers for video game emulators, Nostlan has a minimalistic design that prioritizes box art, not metadata.

WinVICE r45154

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE r45154 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

N64 Git (2024/05/10)

EmuCR: N64N64 Git (2024/05/10) is compiled. Experimental low-level N64 emulator written in C and a bit of C++. Still under heavy development and not ready for prime time. Compatibility is not high and performance is not great (yet.) The goals of this project are to create a low-level emulator with good compatibility, while learning a lot along the way.
