yuzu Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2021/08/11) is compiled. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

rpcs3 Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2021/08/11) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

PCSX2 Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2021/08/11) is compiled. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

Xenia Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Git (2021/08/11) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).

PCSX-Redux Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2021/08/11) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

Fceux Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR:FceuxFceux Git (2021/08/11) is compiled. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

PPSSPP Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2021/08/11) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

Play! Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR: Play!Play! Git (2021/08/11) is complied. Play! is an attempt at creating an emulator for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console on the Windows platform. It is currently written in C/C++. It uses an instruction caching/recompilation scheme to achieve better performance while emulating the CPU.

mGBA Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2021/08/11) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

FB Neo Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2021/08/11) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

EKA2L1 Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR: EKA2L1 EKA2L1 Git (2021/08/11) is released. EKA2L1 is a Experimental Symbian OS emulator, written in C++ 17. The emulator currently emulates Symbian OS's EKA2 behavior (with planned EKA1 support), and reimplement most of its critical app servers. It can already boot many EKA2's apps and games, with EKA1 being worked on at the moment.

BizHawk Git (2021/08/11)

EmuCR: BizHawkBizHawk Git (2021/08/11) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

CLK (2021/08/09)

EmuCR: CLKCLK (2021/08/09) is released. CLK is an emulator for tourists that seeks best-in-class accuracy while minimising latency. So its aims are: single-click load of any piece of source media for any supported platform; with a heavy signal processing tilt for accurate reproduction of original outputs; that aims for the lowest possible latency; and 100% accurate emulations, naturally.

EmuTos CVS (2021/08/10)

EmuCR: EmuTosEmuTos CVS (2021/08/10) is released. EmuTos is a GEMDOS compatible operating system for Atari ST series computers. It is made from Digital Research's GPLed original sources and is a free and open source replacement for common TOS images for Atari ST emulators.
