yuzu Git (2020/04/07)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2020/04/07) is complied. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

EmuCR: RyujinxRyujinx Git (2020/04/07) is complied. Ryujinx is a Experimental Switch emulator written in C#. Don't expect much from this. Some homebrew apps works, and Tetris shows the intro logos (sometimes) but that's about it for now. Contributions are always welcome.

rpcs3 Git (2020/04/07)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2020/04/07) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

EmuCR: reicastReicast Git (2020/04/07) is compiled. reicast is a multi-platform Dreamcast emulator. The project is currently in Alpha, usability, performance and stability issues are to be expected. Cortex-A9 dualcore, 1ghz+ is the minimum hardware for decent speeds.

renameSET.dat v0.220

renameSET.dat v0.220 is released. This project came about as a result of the continuous changes that mamedevs provide the names of the sets out whenever a new version of the executable. The reasons for these changes are manifold: correction of previous errors, addition of new games with similar names, etc.. By the time the project has expanded by collecting not only changes the name of the sets but also a kind of statistical data-base.

GroovyMame v0.220 SwitchRes v0.017p

EmuCR: GroovyMameGroovyMame v0.220 SwitchRes v0.017p is released. GroovyMame is a custom M.A.M.E. build mainly aimed at CRT monitors, as we are convinced CRT technology is a must when it comes to enjoying emulation in its full glory. However you can use GroovyMAME to alliviate some of the annoyances associated to emulation on LCD displays, specially for those models which are capable of refreshing at custom rates.

MESSUI v0.220

EmuCR: MESSMESSUI v0.220 is released. MESSUI is a unoffical builds of MESS with NEWUI. MESS is an open source project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

EmuCR: NegatronNegatron v0.99.7 is released. Negatron is yet another front-end for MAME, the well-known multi-system emulator. Negatron has been first engineered to assist users in managing the huge list of machines available in MAME as intuitively as possible, them being arcade machines, consoles or computers. It has been developed in order to be as much hassle-free as possible, checking for any changed or updated resources automatically.

NegaMAME v0.220.1

EmuCR: NegaMAMENegaMAME v0.220.1 is released. NNegatron is a MAME dedicated front-end that has then been engineered to ease the task for users and be as intuitive as possible. On its first release in November 2015, it was the very first front-end to fully unlock the possibilities of machine configurations available in MAME. Some other front-ends caught up since. But when MAME changed its way to provide information to third-party front-ends in May 2017 with v0.186, it also prevented access to some important information to front-ends. In June 2018, Negatron has once again reiterated its prowess by working in association with the new MAME derivative called NegaMAME. NegaMAME behaves exactly like official MAME. But it simply adds a command that third-party front-ends can use to get back the information missing in MAME since v0.186, effectively helping Negatron to regain full access to all the features it already had in 2015.

Mameinfo.dat v0.220 is released. detailed mame game information (including version added, number of players, game status, cpu/audio chips, display info and maws hall of fame ratings). Provides Recommended Games for GameEx.

WolfMame v0.220

WolfMame v0.219 is released. WolfMAME is a build which is optomised for MARP - MAME Action Replay Page, where literally thousands of MAME fans play, save and upload highscore attempts. WolfMAME does not allow the player to pause games, use cheats, change DIP switches etc to gain an unfair advantage.

Nin v0.7.2

EmuCR:My NesNin v0.7.2 is released. Nin is an advanced Nintendo Entertainement System and Famicom emulator that is actively being developped. Right now, the emulator is not very polished on the UX side, but can run many games without issues. A gamepad is supported. The exact mapping will depend on the vendor's layout. On a keyboard, the arrows are mapped to the NES D-Pad, Space is Select, Enter is Start, Z is A and X is B. Multiple controllers or other kinds of controller are not currently supported.

Gearboy v3.0.0 beta1

EmuCR: GearboyGearboy v3.0.0 beta1 is released. Gearboy is a Nintendo Game Boy emulator written in C++. The emulator is focused on readability of source code, but nevertheless it has good compatibility. A lot of effort has gone into this in order to follow OOP and keep it as simple as possible.
