rpcs3 Git (2018/06/06) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

Xenia Git (2018/06/06) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).

yuzu Git (2018/06/06)

yuzu Git (2018/06/06) is complied. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from shared improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

Snes9x Git (2018/06/06)

Snes9x Git (2018/06/06) is compiled. Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Snes9x is the result of well over three years worth of part-time hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, divorce, etc. (just kidding about the divorce bit). Snes9x is coded in C++, with three assembler CPU emulation cores on the i386 Linux and Windows ports.

Fuse v1.5.4

Fuse v1.5.4 is released. The Free Unix Spectrum Emulator (Fuse) is an emulator of the 1980s home computer and various clones for Unix, Mac OS X and Windows.

PCSXBox v23

PCSXBox v23 is released. PCSXbox is a port of the PCSX emulator to Xbox. It emulates the Playstation1 console.

bsnes-mcfly v106r04

bsnes-mcfly v106r04 is released. Some of you may have noticed that Olympian Magic has seen no updates for over 3 weeks. I didn't put it on hiatus just for the sake of taking a break. No, the reason it went on hiatus is this project: bsnes-mcfly. This is a port of the Qt GUI from bsnes v073 to higan v106. In development versions up to v106, it was previously known as “bsnes-classic” in an attempt to replace AWJ's fork also named “bsnes-classic”. However, AWJ has shown that bsnes-classic is still alive, so this project had to be renamed.

PPSSPP v1.6.3 is released. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

Dolphin Git 5.0-8047

Dolphin Git 5.0-8047 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

OpenMSX Git (2018/06/06)

OpenMSX Git (2018/06/06) is complie. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.

Altirra v3.10 Test 29

Altirra v3.10 Test 29 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.
