Negatron v0.99.2 is released. Negatron is yet another front-end for MAME, the well-known multi-system emulator. Negatron has been first engineered to assist users in managing the huge list of machines available in MAME as intuitively as possible, them being arcade machines, consoles or computers. It has been developed in order to be as much hassle-free as possible, checking for any changed or updated resources automatically.
Negatron v0.99.1 Changelog:
Application:
Fixed the communication bug between Java and native applications on Linux and macOS. Oracle finally dismissed my bug report but Vas Crabb told me what should be done (see here). Linux and macOS users now aren't required to use NegaMAME anymore, similarly to Windows users since the beginning, at least when enjoying arcade games...
Fixed a bug introduced with 0.99.1 where Negatron will crash the very first time it's being launched while people updating an already installed Negatron didn't see any issues.
Fixed a silent bug triggered by the statistics pane when changing Negatron's GUI language.
Tweaked OS detection to better detect macOS.
