HP-15C v3.4.01 Build 5544
HP-15C v3.4.01 Build 5544 is released. The Simulator mimics the behaviour of the real HP-15C. It does not emulate any hardware, like CPU, ROM or Memory, of the real HP-15C. That is why it is a Simulator and not an emulator. The Simulator is intended to be a useful RPN calculator for your PC desktop. It therefore makes use of the features of the underlying operating system and it's GUI: Programs can be saved in files, so that you need to key them in only once. Pop-up menus provide easy and fast access to many HP-15C functions and features. However, no new function, which is not supported by the real HP-15C, is added. The Simulator supports almost all functions and features of the real HP-15C. Differences between the real HP-15C and the Simulator are rather small.

vDosPlus (2017/09/16)
vDosPlus (2017/09/16) is released. vDosPlus (formerly vDos-lfn) is a general-purpose non-gaming DOS emulator running on Windows, based on vDos and DOSBox. vDosPlus is designed to run non-gaming DOS applications in all current Windows versions. NTVDM (NT Virtual DOS Machine) is included in 32-bit Windows, but NOT in 64-bit Windows. However, most today's Windows is now 64-bit, and to run DOS programs you need a DOS emulator. vDosPlus is exactly for this purpose, and like original vDos it provides advanced features such as support for file-locking (needed by multi-user applications) and printing to Windows-only (GDI) printers, but it also has many unique features such as a tighter integration with Windows and enhanced keyboard, mouse and display support. It was formerly known as vDos-lfn because its initial focus was added support for Windows-style long filenames or LFNs in addition to traditional DOS 8.3 file names, but now with a wide range of additional features there are much more than this. It is based on mature projects and also well tested by for example the XyWrite community and many normal or power users of various DOS applications, so it should be considered pretty stable as well.

BlastEm v0.5.1 pre (2017/09/15)
BlastEm v0.5.1 pre (2017/09/08) is released. BlastEm has the goal of being an extremely accurate Genesis emulator while still running on relatively modest hardware by using advanced techniques. Currently it meets neither my accuracy nor performance goals, but those goals are pretty high. Speed and accuracy should be sufficient for most purposes. It runs at full speed on an old first generation Intel Atom and can run Sonic 2 at around 600 fps on a Haswell desktop using a single core. To my knowledge, it is the only emulator besides Genesis Plus GX that can properly display the "TITAN 512C FOREVER" portion of Titan's Overdrive demo, and the only emulator besides Exodus that passes all 122 of the tests in Nemesis' VDP FIFO Testing ROM and can properly display "Direct Color DMA" demos.
