Virtual JaguarX v1.20 is released. Virtual JaguarX is an Atari Jaguar emulator for Xbox. It is a port of an old version of the Virtual Jaguar emulator (v1.0.5) with some improvements taken from later versions.
Virtual JaguarX v1.20 Changelog:
* New option "Speed Hack" that gives more speed and better audio in many games
* New feature to limit speed to the desired framerate
* HD resolution supported in rom list

ReplyDeleteOriginal Xbox is one of the most impressive "emulator station" of them all !. Hobby programmers found that it was similar a Windows xp computer,pretty close after its release.Microsoft were rather lazy in its efforts to protect it from piracy. In its time,it was the most powerful console on the market,with a hard drive storage to rely on in native mode,and a pretty strong Pentium 3 based 733 mhz cpu. To put it straight: Original Xbox was/is A DREAM FOR HACKERS,and its hack/mod scenes is somewhat active still today,= 2018 !!.
What Original Xbox emulators are you missing,J-Merrit ?. -PS4 ??.. Nintendo Switch ??..latest Android ?.. Well,good luck with that then..(unless you´re PC-boy !).
Original Xbox has emulators for almost EVERYTHING before Y2K,including Amiga,Atari Jaguar,PS1,Saturn,GBA,SNES,Genesis-series,N64,3DO and Turbographx.-Even odd things such as japanese PC 98,Wonderswan and Neo geo mini,plus Vectrex and Laser games from the old arcade Machines. -Hell,they have even made some progress with Dreamcast emulation on it,for crying out loud ! (= from SAME console generation,that is..). There is also a bunch of home made games avaiable to install on it (where some of them are really fun !).
Then we have the mighty "Jukebox" software,that´s something special,and a media player that can pass a significant amount of disc protection measures.
On the hardware side,you can easally find cheap brand new DVD/CD- dedicated remote controls for it,still today.-Even wireless game controllers (with included IR-Eyes of course) is possible to find. Via hardmodding,you can replace the fan as well,if you think it´s to noisy (the initial Xbox 360 and PS3 models are MUCH WORSE though..).
Used consoles,games,and accessories are also really cheap,compared with old Nintendo stuff,on today´s market.
"ORIGINAL XBOX YEAR 2018 ROCKS !. BIG TIME" !!.
And you my friend,need to wake up and smell the refreshing,classic Xbox coffee !.

PS. I have two Xbone´s and a PS4 too. I love them,but they can almost onlý do what Microsoft and Sony allows them to,=good for their shareholders,but bad for you and me. DS.
..And don´t forget about the games that is compatible with 720p (and even 1080i in some cases) resolution,via component cable.

i still do 5 years after you posted your lame bs.. perfect "retrostation" really make one out of a decent crt tv they rock the microphone for us real retro heads!
