DOSBox-X Git (2017/05/07) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox v0.74. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.
DOSBox-X Git Changelog:
* Add 4:3 HD modes to VESA mode table
* convert 3Dfx/Voodoo emulation to memory callout system. Now the MEM page
fetching system only has to concern itself with the phandler[] array and
calling the slow path to fill in, rather than every page request going
through a series of range checks.
* begin memio callback migration by moving LFB and MMIO (S3 emulation)
mapping into that mode. this also means the "get a page of memory"
function no longer needs to range-check against it all the time.
* mem page callback, start the code

Wow, that VooDoo conversion is actually a pretty significant upgrade. It'll help a lot.
