DOSBox-X Git (2017/05/03) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox v0.74. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.
DOSBox-X Git Changelog:
* keep track of the handler. update I/O free routine to overwrite with
default only if the IO handler slot is the same handler initially
assigned.
* begin implementing bus callout and I/O port "slow path" logic.
this will eventually lead to some devices attaching to an ISA bus that
is then enumerated fully in the "slow" path to then determine who to
call to by I/O port. Once a device responds to the call, the IO handler
is patched in so that further access is just as fast as before.
