DOSBox-X Git (2016/05/09) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox v0.74. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.
DOSBox-X Git Changelog:
* Address GCC 4.8/5.x complains about LOG_MSG() and non-constant format
string. Basically what GCC is trying to tell us is that printf-like
functions with a string variable is a possible security problem because
percent signs in the string variable will be handled by printf() as
variables to parse.
* address complaints about 'make install' overwriting DOSBox 0.74 by
changing installed executable to 'dosbox-x'.
* ...and here's the Linux/X11 desktop detection.
* complement aybe's desktop detection with Linux/X11 specific version.
Also, separate Windows-specific root desktop code with #ifdef WIN32
to prevent compiler error on non-Windows systems. The Linux/X11 code is
in a separate file because sdlmain.cpp has so much namespace collision
going on.
* make Linux conditional for automake possible.
* Fixed fullresolution=desktop, small guard to avoid fullscreen crashes, some formatting.
* Fixed normal scaler.
* Removed solution user options.
* Updated ignores.
* Fixed scaling activation from with menu.
* Allow compilation without MFC.
