Xenia Git (2015/12/08) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).
Xenia Status:
- Some code runs. [Insert any game name here] doesn't.
- Asserts! Crashes! Hangs! Blank screens!
Xenia Git Changelog:
* Moving temporary registers to exec blocks. ps may still need to be shared.
* Workaround for nvidia bug with dynamic local memory access.
* Making texture swizzles dynamic. Seems to fix some color swap issues.
And probably exposes many more ;)
* gl_FragCoord support.
* Fixing vfetch_mini use.
* Alternate indirect buffer command.
* Loops in shaders (no TDRs! woo!).
* Don't duplicate vf bindings.

It pisses me off how this emulator only supports OpenGL 4.5 GPU's and doesn't support OGL 4.4 GPU's , why the develoepr behind this emulator killing all the chances for people to even try this amazing emulator !?
ReplyDeleteBecause he's determined that the functions of OpenGL 4.5 are necessary for good emulation. Using 4.4 is pointless since most cards that old aren't powerful enough for good 360 emulation anyway and without 4.5's better functions emulation on all devices would be slower.
