I saw that from your comment in the previous commit page here. But how can they be two different files? It's all in Russian language. We can't trust it at this point. No news from the Demul team means it appears suspicuous. I don't know if some of them are Russian-speaking people.
DeleteChange of stance: the latest Alpha builds do work now because following the emutalk thread posted by AB and reading other people's problems I noticed that I had to change the GD-ROM plugin from gdrCHD to gdrImage to make the emulator read from the image files if you opt to load from a .cdi image file.
DeleteA 4th bugfix already? But the emulator still crashes every time I load ANY game after the bios screen finishes loading (when I started with this new bugfix file I did get into the DC menu). The Alpha builds also naturally cannot detect the .cdi image files for the games unless I manually search for them unlike the 2013 stable build. So these alpha builds are rubbish.

Deletebecause in the zip file i couldn't find any dxlegacy plugin.i have an i7,8gb of ram and a 2 gb nvidia card,i run gta 5 at ultra detail,and yet all naomi games stutter like hell.

ReplyDeleteWell, that is a good question. Why don't you ask them over there ? I doubt like AnimalBear that they would not say anything but you are free to ask them if you want. It won't hurt a bit. :-)

Stop being a baby and buy 12GB Memory, a Nvidia Graphic card with DX11, and a good Intel CPU.

DeleteAnd why did you assume that I don't have a good enough PC to run these games even when I made comparisons between the stable release and these alpha releases? And that these alpha releases crash after attempting to boot some games I tried, so it's got nothing to do with my PC performance. But OK, I'll still wait and hope for the best from either Demul or Reicast

ReplyDeleteEgon L. i don´t have any problem to run this games on demul, you just complain about the emulator having virus. So i don´t care if you like it or not. If runs on your computer or not is your problem. Stop feed me, because i hate to feed others.

DeleteIn other news, we all must mourn the sudden and hugely shocking news of fabled Nintendo's boss Satoru Iwata's passing. Very sad. I don't think none of us in the gaming and emulator world can cope with it for a long time to come, perhaps forever.

ReplyDeleteAll this time and Demul has not really changed at all, same bad compatibility and same teaser screenshots and nothing else.
I think you do have to go into the Maple Adapters setting or something and then select an existing memsave file for the first controller section & perhaps the 2nd one too. If have none then perhaps you can try to copy that 'blank' memsave file from an old nullDC or Chankast package. Yeah, I know it's confusing.
