Snes9x Git (2015/01/08) is compiled. Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Snes9x is the result of well over three years worth of part-time hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, divorce, etc. (just kidding about the divorce bit). Snes9x is coded in C++, with three assembler CPU emulation cores on the i386 Linux and Windows ports.
Snes9x Git changelog:
* Merge pull request #62 from sebn/gtk-fix-desktop-entry-mimetype
gtk: fix desktop entry mimetype
* gtk: fix desktop entry mimetype
Current application/x-snes-rom is not an official IANA mimetype:
https://www.iana.org/assignments/media-types/application/x-snes-rom
The correct mimetype is application/vnd.nintendo.snes.rom:
https://www.iana.org/assignments/media-types/application/vnd.nintendo.snes.rom
The old mimetype was kept since someone may be using it.

ReplyDeleteYou asked the wrong site.. Emucr just compiled the emulators from many developers. You will have to go to SNES9X forum and asked the developer there. Not here.
