Citra Git (2014/12/08) is compiled. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.

when will the emulator be able to boot games
ReplyDeleteIn a few years. Considering there have been a lot of complaints about being able to play games on this emulator. We should be patient, that we even have a emulator and the reason why, is because the reason is because we were patient enough to even have a emulator in the first place.
DeleteBesides, once they figure out to boot games, there still going to be slow enough and the first game to have actually been playable was Super Robot Taisen UX, and even that had a Blackscreen. So we shouldn't keep asking, them about it and let it be finished...I mean, they put their hard work into this creating this emulator for us. Commercial Games is not the issue here, and the software is more complicated then you think. I understand, most people want to be able to play this emulator and I understand, but asking about games and such isn't going to solve their problem. We have to be considerate and wait a few years, and see what there progress will be in those years then maybe we will have something.
