MESS v0.153 is released. MESS is an open source project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

This allows the removal of the uart hle in the driver (which didn't work, it was always two characters behind). diserial cannot sync with the start bit properly when using an external clock, so for now I've added a hack that is only enabled when using the MC68901 (setting the flag ignores the extra spurious bit that was getting shifted in). [smf] -fixed uninitialised variables, atari st mouse works again [smf] -Replicator 1 driver: [Felipe Sanches] * status: no sound / not working * general skeleton. * basic memory mapping * shift-register interfacing from PORTC writes to the LCD device * avr8 fuses configuration -pt68k4: Hooked up devices, can now read floppy disks.
