As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

DeSmuME SVN r4851 is compiled. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

NeoGPC v1.1

NeoGPC v1.1 is released. NeoGPC is a NeoGeo Pocket Color emulator with the intention of becoming accurate enough to emulate the NGPC bios and properly run all games and homebrew. NeoGPC will also include a debugger with breakpoints and all of the necessary pieces to accurately create NGPC homebrew.
