EmuCR: Project 64Project64 v2.0 is released. Project64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. If you want to test, you have to donate money to the developers.

      be aware that this version comes with toolbars that have to be manually disabled during the install

      they are called
      delta toolbar

      and iminent minibar

      they are there to help support the developers ,so check them out to see if they are any good
      first before installing the emulator

      ok if your daft enough to install any tool bar without first checking it here's some info on both

      ok so these aren't malware ,just potentially unwanted programs
      so just don't install them unless you know exactly what your doing "

      when i saw the toolbar thingy come up i thought whoa not installing that

    It is not a fake. With some games works much better, with others still not perfect, but result is really good.

    many games are loading now :

    indiana jones ,kirby ,ect..

    omg they still haven't got the xbox360's d pad working grrrrr

    try Nuclear Strike 64 for lullz

    also it doesn't hold the joypad settings ,i keep having to load them for every game

    although that might have something to do with the fact i copied it from one drive's program files to my desktop

    Lol, its an donation-based emulator and look at the installer xD.

    They should include virtual ads or something, its not fully monetized yet.

      On my computer "broken" works Crysis 3 and not Project64 version 2.0... wow... The emulator is defective...

    LOL FAILZ!

    I cannot get conker to load no matter how hard I try.

    I tried many plugins,tweaked settings several times,and I updated the RDB with same unofficial one that works with older pj64 versions.

    The funny thing is older pj64 runs conker perfectly.

    One cool thing I noticed is that the Taz Express (U) unreleased game actually manages to run on 2.0,it can go full speed but runs at 45fps.

    It manages to play in-game but with graphical glitches.

    Anyway,why does conker no longer run on 2.0?

    Never mind,I forgot to turn on all but 32 bit in game name,plus also TLB Unmapping and Protect Memory in Recompiler on the edit game settings.

    Then after that it should run.

    They released '2.0' for free after all these years of leeching for every penny of the emulation community, Look's like the pj64 team is finally turned around now how about open source? Is 2.0 also open source I can't find source for it but I heard there was a source released by jabo for it.
