Project64 Git (2012/07/31) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.
Project64 Git Changelog:
* what le fuck zilmar, initiateaudio isnt called when game opens....
* moar work on resampling audio, non tested

Who keeps compiling these? These clearly AREN'T ready to be released.
ReplyDeletethe emuCRap morons compile them.they dont care if the builds work or not,all they are interested in is more hits and downloads.what do they care if they dont work and aggravate people? this site is run by amateurs
ReplyDeleteOhhh Emu is back! lets jump in this thread as well. Emucr.com is clearly a bleeding edge type site. these builds are not for everyone, and the fact is, you shouldn't download these builds if you don't know what your doing. THAT SAID, these builds are great for people who love to live on the bleeding edge. you get the latest bug fixes, but can also get new bugs. Its like any other software beta test really. you can compare it to updating your Linux libs to an unstable repository. They are there and offered to the public, but they aren't for the weak, you need some knowledge of what your doing. It also allows for bug reports from a larger sample audience. The problem is people download these going "herp derp software never has bugs!" and then complain when something doesn't work, and doing do so in the right places, or in the right way. Its not Emucr's fault that this happens, they provide whats already out there. they dont steal sourcecode, they get it from the OPEN SOURCE REPOSITORIES. the same place you or I could go do the same exact thing.
Delete@xuide, all the same, some authors don't like EmuCR compiling their emulators before they have a chance to test it themselves. They also don't like having emulators that require "donations" to be leaked, either (*Cough* PJ64 1.7 beta *cough*!)
Deletelook at the know it all,lol the bleeding edge.listen kiddie,i know quite well what im doing.the ones who DONT know what they are doing are the emuCrap compiling team.as the randomizer has already said NONE of these pj64 builds are for end user use.anyone who has actually downloaded it and tried to use knows that.am i wrong? is this build working now? cause earlier when randomizer posted "Who keeps compiling these? These clearly AREN'T ready to be released" he was 100% correct.this build DOES NOT WORK.
Deletethey also hosted the leaked Demul 0.5.7 when the Demul team clearly said it was a leak,it certainly wasnt ready for end users but emuCRap didnt care, they are rebels! then emugeeks like xuide have to don their white knight gear and swoop in and defend!
DeleteExactly. While it is open source and while those who compile them aren't breaking any rules (which is good), they still need to respect authors' wishes to not see worthless SVN/untested emulators.
Delete*Sigh* I weep for the future.....Oh, well.
ReplyDeletethe java creators compile it, and jpcsp team sniff their underpants
ReplyDeleteLook likes Project64 version 1.7 still in beta mode until year.... Think about it....
ReplyDeleteThese builds on EmuCR are pieces of s**t and are untested. Wait a little bit and a good version should be around the corner.
DeleteRespect the work of EmuCr team, these guys spend hours and hours compiling these builds, these builds are work in progress (WIP) and anyone with a working brain know it.
DeleteWho are you, the admin of the world? You can't tell me what to do.
DeleteSVN/Git build aren't realese noobs
ReplyDeleteWell, duh. They're not official versions, and they haven't been tested yet. The person who maintains the PJ64 1.6 source code doesn't like the fact builds are being released when minute/useless changes are made to code. He would rather there be a vital change made BEFORE it's compiled and released. Some SVN/GIT versions of emulators are broken to the point of being unusable. Some emulators, like Dolphin and PCSX2 aren't even optimized for x64 CPUs.
Deletelol @ josh freese.typical generic internet answer-you must be a noob.lol.no shit these are svn builds, but why even bother posting svn builds that DO NOT WORK! they benefit nobody, just emuCRap cause they get more hits.tons of people asked what was this pcsx2 1.0.0 but did emuCRap team even comment once to clarify? no they did not
ReplyDeleteWho was the wanker who closed the GIT Page!? I have a link to the source code and I'm not afraid to post it!
ReplyDeleteI was that wanker, duh.
