rpcs3 SVN r42

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 SVN r42 is compiled. rpcs3 is an open source PlayStation 3 (PS3) emulator for the Microsoft Windows. Current versions can run only small homebrew for PS3. Developers are planning to make it to emulate PS3 on its speed in the near future.

rpcs3 purpose:
- Make PS3 developers easily test their apps and homebrews on PC without crashing their PS3 or moving their apps from PC to PS3.
- Just playing PS3 games on your PC and have fun! ( In the future )

rpcs3 SVN Changelog:

OpenGL renderer:
- Implemented ProgramBuffer.
- Emulated more rsx commands.

rpcs3:
- Fixed crash on stop.

Interpreter & DisAsm:
- Added Pause button.
- Fixed freeze on Run.

tetris:
- Updated to last version.

    GOW3 running @ 60fps ,drops to 50fps when encounter the first boss Poseidon.A bit of screen tearing when vsync is off.

    Thank so much because this emulator. Not this in particular, but because the all atempt to make a funcional emulator to play games and test apps. Hope the job needed to make this run well is virtualy done, and the rest is optimized time. Even if not, im hope you find all solutions of the problems that difficult the emulation.

    For those who need help with decrypting the EBOOT.bin and converting it to an .elf, read this:

    It took me like, 4 hours of constant tinkering to figure it out, so be very greateful that I took the time to help you out. The following instructions were originally written by someone else, however I have tweaked them, as certain files/links were not available etc. So anyway here are the instructions on how to convert the EBOOT.bin to EBOOT.elf:


    First you will need to download three things:
    CYGWIN, PS3TOOLS 2.0.55 (or another source), and FAILOVERFLOW_PS3TOOLS_WIN32





    Step 1

    Run the Cygwin setup and install with all default options and packages.


    Step 2

    (We'll assume you installed to C:\)

    Once Cygwin is installed its time to set up our key files. For this tutorial we'll be using the ps3tools setup which contains keys for games such as Gran Turismo 5 Need For Speed Hot Pursuit and others. If you'd like to extract other games or sony files you will need to find the appropriate keys in the PS3 Tools Keypack or elsewhere.

    Step 3

    Extract ps3tools. Then search for and locate .PS3 folder. Place .PS3 folder into C:\cygwin\home\(User)\ Where (User) will be your windows username, and already be premade for you by cygwin.

    You should now have a .ps3 folder (IMPORTANT: please note there is a period before ps3) containing 3.50 keys in C:\cygwin\home\(User)\



    Step 4

    Place your EBOOT.BIN (or SELF) that you wish to decrypt into C:\cygwin\home\(User)\

    Step 5

    Navigate to C:\cygwin\bin\ and extract fail0verflow_ps3tools_win32.rar into this folder.




    Step 6

    Navigate to C:\cygwin\ and run Cygwin.bat

    Step 7

    In the window that pops up, type unself EBOOT.BIN EBOOT.ELF and press enter



    Step 8

    Navigate to C:\cygwin\home\(User)\ and collect your newly decrypted EBOOT.ELF file!

    PS3tools has a host of other features if you're so inclined to use them. It's in the readme.

    hi ! can anybody help me? ( sorry for my english ), i get the latest version of this emulator, and i download via torrent a game, this give me a folder called bles and a number, now, how can i run the game ? how can i get a eboot.bin to pass it to a eboot. elf or something like that ?( i repeat, sorry for my english ), well, thanks , i wait for an answer :)
