  3. i agree you shouldnt make a replica of a BIG companys game engine without permission. just cause ffvii not in stores anymore dont mean your able to use theyre engine..squaresoft is the same company as its always been and they continue making games using this engine that they made..square enix and squaresoft are the same company..i like the idea but TOS and license agreements clearly state nothing from theyre games should becopied or changed in any form or manner without legal consent or without company consent..i too smell a lawsuit..if have permission then do what like but we all giving warning..at least sony knows about pcsx2 and epsxe but the devs have permission to make the emulator but its the users alone that take responsibility for what happens after using it.

  4. Emucr is really composed of fuckwits it seems.

Get this through your non-educated skulls - this is a GAME ENGINE RECREATION - the same as NewRAW, ScummVM, NX Engine and whatever you can think of.

If yuo consider this illegal, then you might as well consider all the other stuff illegal as well.

Get the fuck outta here with your 'concerns' and 'misgivings'- I don't come to emucr to get somophoric lessons in petty bourgeoisie morality.

    1. chrono resurrection was also a game engine recreation and look what happened, squaresoft got it canceled

not saying that i dont aprove of this project, but squaresoft can cancel this the same way as they did with Chrono Resurrection if they put their smelly asses into it

    2. No, it was not. chrono resurrection was a remake off the entire game in 3d, not a recreation of the engine. Q-Gears is only a new engine tu run the game "untouched" on new system. It's like ScummVM. It's perfectly legal, like all emulator are.
PSX and PS2 emulation it's different because an original bios image of the system is needed.
