MESS SVN r15132 is compiled. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

VIRUS ALERT! There is a Trojan Virus in this file from the DepositFiles link. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MESS FILE!!! The EmuCR staff better explain themselves as to why there is a Trojan Virus in their file that they uploaded.

ReplyDeleteTHREE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE CONFIRMED THAT IT HAS A VIRUS! Every antivirus program detects different viruses. Just because your antivirus program didn't detect it, doesn't mean it's safe. And did you make sure you downloaded the file from "DepositFiles"?
ReplyDeleteSorry but my antivirus scan the virus using Microsoft Essential Security and firefox scanned it as well. No virus. Sometimes antivirus program scanned falsely.
ReplyDeleteThat's weird how three people detected the virus but two people did not detect it. Maybe the uploader removed the virus after reading the virus alert post that was typed here. So maybe that's why the two people didn't detect it. I really hope that the EmuCR staff didn't intentionally upload the viruses and then remove it after getting caught.
