Keep It Up!
ReplyDeleteWhy do you say keep it up ? :)
ReplyDeleteThey dont read here.
Anyway, it is good to see this keep going. In 5 years, we might see 1 or 2 games being playable and SLOW SPEED.
they even troll at the developers site

Very sorry if you can play on the emulator rpcs3 in the game?
ReplyDeleteps3 emu?!?
ReplyDeleteIt will run fullspeed in ten years. Just like ps2.
These guys are true pioneers nevertheless.
i agree with you DUDE..they should appreciate the people who work hard getting this thing Work in the future
ReplyDeleteGuys, even if this emulator was 100% complete there is no way in hell that your current pc would get even close to 100% speed. You'll need a 30ghz processor (8 core) cpu in order to emulator the 3.1ghz POWERPC PPE and 8 SPE's....not to mention that said, it's not going to be easy to translate that powerful of a Powerpc to a standard CPU we use in computers...
ReplyDeletemore like fucking 20 years !! like the n64 ps2 and dolphin and xbox emulaters they been developing them for years too still all games r not full speed mostly slow and my computer is high end !! they need to start finding different ways to get games running at full 60 frame rates lol lame lame lame oh yea and the pcsx2 emulator ....for the ps2 its lame how the only way to get that to run games full speed is to click under options go to speed hacks setting..and enable speed hack option then higher the EE cycle rate and the Vu bars un surprised why they don't just intergrate those options within the core for faster speed intead of us having to set those options our selvs ...save us less options to choose lol
ReplyDeletein my opinion we don't need 30ghzs and 30 gigs ram to run emulators wen consoles only have 512 mb ram and less processor speed lol sumthing sjust not doing right the way they make emulators thats all they need to focus on how to get the games to run better on computers cpu and ram wise

Yeah, i done cleanup and closed this issue for now, new similar issues will be deleted too. :3
E3Gamer what kind of fucking ignorant you are?
ReplyDelete30 GHZ?
PS3 doesn't have 8 REAL cores, if we can say that a core is like an arm, a SPE (PS3 additional "cores") its just a finger.
The real Cell processor description is this : 3.2 GHz Cell with 7 SPEs
It is a SINGLE core architecture plus 8 SPEs, the SPEs aren't actually working like full sized cores, you need to be really stupid just to believe something like that.
The really truth is that Sony and IBM has made such a big investment that they had really needed to find a way for comercialize Cell's processor architecture, and they choose to use the PS3 as a way to do that, they even have used it in Sony TVs and BR players, and as other ways like cluster computing and supercomputing but NOT with the PS3's version.
PS3's Cell processor can be compared with Intel's Core 2 Duo E6850 wich has more cache, better ram bus and some more little issues.
PS3's architecture was a really TOP NOTCH technology arround the second half of 2006.
Not misinform people please.
PS3 has 2 real cores, one main core and second with 7 SPE's
ReplyDeleteP.S: Without JIT recompiler these discussions useless. :\
Next rpcs3 r40 will have changes in video parts and few other things.

I think you guys took me wrong. I put 30Ghz (8core) as in future terms. By the time we have a powerful enough system to run the PS3 8 core would be the new "Single core" in a sense. Not to mention my theory is that the host needs to be at most x10 more powerful than what it is trying to emulate. Sorry if I offended anyone. Any emulator that can run games with less cpu is general using speed hacks skipping various functions of the actual system.
ReplyDeleteTake the gamecube and Ps2 emulators for example. The gamecube/wii emulator works 100% all the time on hardware running around 4GHZ on two cores. The second core is a hack in a sense, QUAD CORE is out of the question. It wont work. The actual hardware was around 470mhz? If you use real accurate emulation with DSP LLE all of a sudden it requires much much more...as goes for the PS2 with full hardware emulation...
ReplyDeleteYou doesn´t need full speed ps2 emu was good playable four years ago. And now on AMD Phenom Black Edition 2.5 GHZ run ps2 at half performance of my pc
ReplyDeleterealy cool, keep it up guys
ReplyDeleteHow is the format of the image to run the game ?
ReplyDeleteThe same question as Marcos Cezar. I saw a video on youtube from a guys running dragon ball on this emulateur. But did we need to creat on image to run the game on is somewhere in the file a file we have to run with rpcs3?
ReplyDeleteThanks for answering
