ReplyDeleteAll this version doesnt work on my system/i have Vista 64,it says-MSVCR100.dll was not found/reinstall the aplication may help.And yes,i reinstall all dx9 and all vc++2005,++2008,++2010 many times.All games and system waorks fine.Its just some problem with that emul.Weird...

ReplyDeleteThe emulator is somewhat faster. Shadow of Colossus sometimes dropped to 55fps for me, but now it`s solid 60fps all the time.
ReplyDeleteThe ghost/shadow bug is still there. Oh well, at least the gfx glitches are more fluid. :P

Pentium Q8400 2,6Ghz quad duo core
NVIDIA 9500GT DDR2
but everytime i try Viewtifull joe 2, it's not always at 60fps. sometimes drop down into 20fps. and become worst as i progress to stage 5. Is this because my spec is not on recommended level?
what is your motherboard & cooling?, you can Overclock that Q8400 to solid 3.6GHz if you buy a better fan....; still your nvidia card is small :(

ReplyDeleteThose specs are decent. You should be able to play most of games nicely with few tweaks in PCSX2 settings (btw it's GDDR3 not DDR2 for graphics RAM and you haven't said the amount of it, but that's ok)... Anyway, some games are more demanding than others. Try some speedhacks and running the game on native resolution because that GPU is kind of a bottleneck there.
Also you might want to try to OC that CPU, but only if you know what you're doing.
P.S. PCSX2 is kinda demanding, especially when it comes down to CPU's... though there are for example CPU's that with some low-range GPU's can basically play anything you throw at it at steady 60/50 FPS (NTSC/PAL). I can confirm that 2500k can do that.

ReplyDeleteTo Goran: Thanks dude. Well, i did several tweak on my PC as well, included speedhacks on higher parameter and put it in native resolution before i posted my comments.
Meanwhile, rogue Galaxy runs pretty good, even i just tweak a little and put both speedhacks parameter's on 1. the worst fps i got is 50fps and happened in a few area
Well, maybe i must figure it out which games that runs perfectly without increasing my expense for buying a luxury GPU since i'm short on money:)

ReplyDeleteI run PCSX2 on a Sandy at 4.9Ghz with a Nvidia GTX 580 (enough for 4x native... didn't try 5x).
I know it's a poor man's PC by today's standards but I can't afford doing frequent upgrades.
Forgot to mention memory... it's just 4Gb (I know... only 4Gb) of 2133Mhz CL9 DDR3.
