EmuCR: Final Burn LegendsFinal Burn Legends v1.10 is released. Final Burn Legends is a port of Final Burn Alpha to the Xbox. It also includes parts of FBA-XXX Pro. "The reason I developed this port was so that I could play Thunder Blade, Galaxy Force 2, Turbo Outrun, and After Burner 2 on the Xbox. However, it developed into much more than that. Source code is included."

Final Burn Legends v1.10 Changelog:
- Updated emulator core to FB Alpha 0.2.97.15; many games added and/or
improved. See official changelogs for details.
- Roll back on games like 'Guardians' and such.
- Note: this is just a beta of a WIP that +T+ was working on. I went ahead
compiled it and rolled back the Toaplan & Psykio cores to v1.9 for this release.
- Gimmie a break... this is my first time doing this. Besides, iq_132 is working
a version of this too which will be better.

You are a fabulous donk, you should know idiot, that 80% of cabinet owner use FBL or CoinOps to play mame and retro console games.

30dollars for a machine that can run thousand and thousand of games via RGB or vga.

Can you do it with a 360? PS3? No.
With a PC ? Yes, what's the price of a shitty PC ?

Write CoinOps or FBL on youtube and fk off.

  3. LOL no they dont you fool, they use MAME

  4. If your going to run 2d games up to the 90s era you cannot beat a softmodded xbox. Its one of the easiest consoles to exploit and as much as the author of Coinops is hated by the xbox scene, it is excellent for running on a cab. Final Burn Legends is great as well.

Obviously you have no clue what your talking about.... the emu scene for xbox 1 It's still very much alive.

You have to know idiot, that using mame PROPERLY on a computer is difficult and expensive, you have to buy the right videocard like a ArcadeVGA.
It also have a cost, make noise and computer are huge.

Of course you can buy a 200dollars HTPC and have a shitty quality, or buy a 30dollars xbox and have a nice picture.

The xbox scene is still alive, xbox emulation forum are really active, emuXtra, 1emulation, coinops forum...

Write ''xbox jamma'' on ebay and you will find that 200 persons bought this pcb to link it to xbox.

So go back to MW3 and COD on your PS3.

  6. 3D games work fine on xbox, almost all PSX and N64 games run well.
Same for lots of 3D arcade games.

  10. actually number 7,with a processor built in the last 2 years, you get playable speeds on 90% of the 3d games, like number 11 says, stop living in the past

    ReplyDelete
  11. lol 80% use a xbox...where did that stat come from? where in 3rd world countries? stop being a cheap ass and build a $250 PC that will run all these games plus more....lol

  12. Converting RGB to VGA will give you a very bad quality.

Xbox give directly RVG/RGB or component, so you will have the original gaming quality on your tv.

  13. If they make the XBOX emulator..... :/
    :/ :/ :/ :/ :/

  14. As far as plug n play goes, sorry xbox wins hands down. I own a sandy bridge emulation computer, yes its ten times faster than the xbox but setting up emulators with a pc frontend is a pain in the ass. You can find torrents with Coinops or fbl with roms, movies already included. Ftp to your xbox, play. Everything just works.

To swear and laugh due to the xboxs specs and age without knowing the bigger picture is a bit ignorant. But as the saying goes, "ignorance is bliss"

  15. #16 That's completly true, most of these people only know MW3 and Call Od Duty on there PS3.

They dont know the pleasure of playing arcade games or snes/nes games on pixel ration or on true hardware. They just care about upscaled 1080p games, GBA games on 1080p HDTV with 5.1 sound.

  16. @12 Again talking of thing's you dont know shit about, like you are some kind of expert!.
what kind of magical mame build you have really?
the mame team already stated that if you want the use of the gpu ,that would never happend thats why for example and old game like fatal fury 3d runs like crap and doesnt look good,
systems with 3D graphics can be unplayably slow even on the fastest computers.
MAME does not currently take advantage of hardware acceleration to speed up the rendering of 3D graphics, in part because of the lack of a stable cross-platform 3D API, and in part because software rendering can in theory be an exact reproduction of the various custom 3D rendering approaches that were used in the arcade games

    ReplyDelete
  17. Why do some games run so slowly on my system?
Games with 3D graphics. MAME does not pass polygons down to the video card of your system; instead, it renders all 3D graphics by hand in software

  18. @12 so do you have a 1o ghz cpu? stop lying please!
Are projected to require anywhere from 6GHz to 10GHz or higher for full
speed. This is due to the CPU that they used - a RISC CPU ranging from
150MHz to 200MHz with a large set of registers isn't going to be
emulated with great speed, no matter how you slice it.

    The Playstation-based games, which include:
a.. Namco System 11 games, including

  19. Sega Model 2/2A/2B/2C games, which are too numerous to list, but include
    more popular games such as:
    a.. Sega Model 2:
    a.. Daytona USA
    b.. Desert Tank
    c.. Virtua Cop
    b.. Sega Model 2A:
    a.. Sega Rally Championship
    b.. Virtua Cop 2
    c.. Virtua Fighter 2
    d.. Zero Gunner
    c.. Sega Model 2B:
    a.. Dead or Alive
    b.. Dynamite Cop
    c.. Indy 500
d.. Sonic Championship / Sonic The Fighters
    e.. Virtua Striker
    f.. Virtual On
    g.. Zero Gunner
    d.. Sega Model 2C:
    a.. Sega Touring Car Championship
b.. The House of the Dead
    c.. Top Skater

Are projected to be in the same general vicinity of the Atari/Midway
Vegas games, probably towards the higher end of 10GHz. Keep in mind,
however, that Sega Model 2 and 2A games may never have 3D emulation
implemented due to totally undocumented DSPs that Sega used for 3D
geometry calculations, among other things. Sega Model 2B and 2C games
are potentially emulatable, but currently only have 2D support in MAME,
and it is not known when they will have 3D support.

Sega Model 3 games, which are too numerous to list, but include more
    popular games such as:
    a.. Virtua Fighter 3
b.. Scud Race / Super GT
    c.. The Lost World
    d.. Sega Rally 2
    e.. Virtual On Oratorio Tangram
    f.. Daytona USA 2
    g.. Dirt Devils
    h.. Star Wars Trilogy
    i.. Virtua Striker 2
    j.. Virtua Striker 2 '98
    k.. Virtua Striker 2 '99

Are emulated, in some form or another, by MAME. However, due to their
incredibly (for the time) powerful hardware, the games are very slow.
Completely accurate estimations are difficult to make, but expect that
Model 3 games will require the equivalent of a 10-20GHz Pentium 4 and
    upwards.

  20. @20 LOL POW RIGHT IN THE KISSER!

  21. @20, you are crazy, i own a PC like you, and i watch bluray and everything like you (gtx580, i5 2500k at 4.5ghz) and i like to play new games, pcsx2 and dolphin.

But for retro gaming, i prefer to use an CRT TV or a 4/3 LCD with a vga conveter + fake scanline, just because retro games look better on little screen with little resolution, most of shmup have a resolution of 240p, how beautiful these game will be on a 42'' LCD ?
240p or 360p games are really ugly on HDTV, try to play NES or SNES and you will see.

Nobody told you to throw away your PC, but FBL or CoinOps are easy to setup, what about HyperSpin? Is hyperspin easy to setup?
CoinOps or FBL dont look like MAME32 or any mame program...

So PC with HDTV for new games, and xbox for mame and retro.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Now if you dont care about mame, retrogaming, you better go somewhere else, because FBL is mainly for mame, and coinops for retro console and mame.

  23. "ignorance is bliss" , you are right, i wont answer to this animal anymore, an hysteric kid. Stop masturbation.

  24. @27 You own that poor guy again hahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  25. lol who said fatal fury doesnt work on MAME? wont work if you got a pentium 4,but any core 2\4 core i series will run that game just fine. You dont need GPU if you got a powerful enough CPU...

    ReplyDelete
  26. all those games you posted all run on MAME.and they run fast....lol you people with your silly stories, liek a MAMEdev always says "GET OVER YOUR ANTIQUES PEOPLE!"

Now im off to play some Tekken Tag,Tekken 3,Soul Blade and Soul Calibur on MAME...lol silly little boys...

    ReplyDelete
  27. It's not logical to use Xbox to play MAME. Just use a PC. 90%+ of working games in MAME can run at full speed on an old Pentium 4 computer.

Plus, using a PC instead of Xbox let's you utilize many more options, features, settings, etc.

But with that all being said, you shouldn't hate on Final Burn Legends. It's another emulator by an author that contributes to the emulation scene. Emulators and authors shouldn't be hated on because they help keep alive the emulation scene and contribute positively to the scene.

    ReplyDelete
  28. lol # 32 whats wrong with you? just go to you tube and type in tekken tag or tekken 3 on MAME.

No magical MAME build, just 64 bot official.not my fault if you got a ancient PC LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO

    ReplyDelete
  29. #32 you are pretty funny guy. I play Tekken 3 and Tekken tag on mame all the time! those games do run, most likely MAME hasnt updated their site.

Trust me,most of those games work. Not the sega model 2 or 3 (but there are other emulators for them)

But all the PSX arcade games run smooth,if you got a decent processor that is.So relax, you are wrong. :)
