PCSX2 SVN r5068 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

#3 I've got PS3Slim, where the fuck should I connect PS2? And why bother? PS2 is hardly supported by devs, but there's still a bunch of great games made for it and PCSX2 shurely is the best way to play each one in HD. Am I right?

ReplyDeletefor one there are alot of great games for ps2..for the trolls > do i make fun of ppl who dont have money for ps3 or gaybox 360?do i put devs down when they know what they doing? no but alot of you trolls on net like to brag about how far they shot a bullet up someones arse on codmw3 or whatever or worse you talk e-smack trying to act hard on the "internet"..if the ones complaining had problems why not try working on an emulator themselves and see how far they get...plus some of us prefer ps2 and devs that work on emulators help us who dont have a console..and those asking for roms heres a hint...stores still sell ps2 games right? they dont cost much anymore and guess what? they play the same way on pcsx2! to all the good ppl on this site thank you for update post and have a good night :)

ReplyDeleteHowever, I don't like to take out my PS2 and hook it up everytime I'm in the mood to play one of my games.
PCSX2 allows me to play my games whenever I want and for however long I want - thanks to savestates and stuff.

ReplyDeletei do own a working ps2 but i like the pcsx2 better,why? becoz pcsx2 can do 2x - 8x native custom native that a real PS2 cannot. And that bring the games to a total new different experience! some games are even better than the ps3 graphic,seriously..
But the newer builds are getting crappy as for speed..
So please those to the developers,build a pcsx2 that is Stable but not compromising on speed & Performance..same goes for dolphin emulator
