MESS SVN r13732 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

ykhwong's DOSBox 0.74 SVN Build 26.12.2011 is released. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD. However, it is not restricted to running only games. In theory, any MS-DOS or PC-DOS (referred to commonly as "DOS") application should run in DOSBox, but the emphasis has been on getting DOS games to run smoothly, which means that communication, networking and printer support are still in early development.

Bochs v2.5 SMP

Bochs v2.5 Emulator (SMP package for Windows) is released. Bochs is a highly portable open source IA-32 (x86) PC emulator written in C++, that runs on most popular platforms. It includes emulation of the Intel x86 CPU, common I/O devices, and a custom BIOS. Currently, Bochs can be compiled to emulate a 386, 486, Pentium/PentiumII/PentiumIII/Pentium4 or x86-64 CPU including optional MMX, SSEx and 3DNow! instructions.

Atari800Win PLus 4.1 Beta 4 is released. Atari800Win PLus is an Atari 800 emulator for Windows. With it, you will be able to run programs made for the Atari 800 computer on your PC. msxDS v0.92 is released. msxDS is a MSX/MSX2/MSX2+ emulator for DS/DS Lite. msxDS is based on fmsxDS v.0.07 by Nyagosu. Several bugs fix and changes have been added. For example, the MSX2+ scrolling works.
