ODAMEX v0.5.6
ODAMEX v0.5.6 is released. ODAMEX is a modified Doom source port. Supported platforms are Windows, Mac, Linux and FreeBSD. It has been designed to allow client/server-based Doom gameplay over the Internet and LAN. It currently supports the traditional old-school style of Deathmatch and a Cooperative mode, but it also includes other game modes such as Teamplay and Capture the Flag. It also supports an array of editing features, including the BOOM map format, DeHackEd and BEX patch support and support for several additional music formats, such as MOD and OGG.
Unofficial Highscore.dat (2011/11/02)
Unofficial Highscore.dat (2011/11/02) is released. Highscore.dat is a complimentary file to help Mame in saving high scores.Most Mame games save their high scores by default, but over 2500 games do not save their high scores. The Highscore.dat file tells Mame some additional information and how to read and store the high scores using the /hi directory instead of /nvram.

SSF Test Version (11/11/06)
SSF Test Version (11/11/06) is released. SSF is a Sega Saturn emulator for Windows systems using DirectX 9.0b. The current version claims near-complete implementation of the Sega Saturn hardware (not counting emulation bugs), and can emulate the Saturn based Sega Titan Video arcade hardware too. As with most emulators, CDs or disc images are not included and have to be owned separately. The BIOS is also not included; as of 0.07 Beta R3, games run without the BIOS however. The usage of BIOS files is optional but recommended for better compatibility, and needed for tasks such as management of the contents of the internal memory of the Sega Saturn, or setting the system clock.

DOSBox SVN r3756 is released. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD. However, it is not restricted to running only games. In theory, any MS-DOS or PC-DOS (referred to commonly as "DOS") application should run in DOSBox, but the emphasis has been on getting DOS games to run smoothly, which means that communication, networking and printer support are still in early development.

MESS SVN r13175 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

GameBoy Online (2011/11/05) is released. GameBoy Online is a Game Boy and GameBoy Color emulator written in Javascript. It strives to be efficient and try to have a perfect compatibility. Currently the execution speed is not optimal even on browsers. For example on Chrome, which is nevertheless deemed to run Javascript faster on a PC running Windows 7 64-bit version with a double heart 2 CPUs at 2.2 GHz, games run at normal speed but almost skipping some frames.
Altirra 2.0 Test 49
Altirra 2.0 Test 49 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.

Wine v1.3.32 is released. Wine is a project to allow a PC running a Unix-like operating system and the X Window System to run x86 programs for Microsoft Windows. Alternately, those wishing to port a Windows application to a Unix-like system can compile it against the Wine libraries.
IV/Play v1.5.5
IV/Play v1.5.5 is released. IV/Play (pronounced ‘Four Play’) is a new desktop oriented GUI front-end for MAME™. It was designed and commissioned by John IV as a familiar feeling alternative to MAMEUI. It has a narrow and particular feature-set, is keyboard driven, and utilises many of the navigation and short cuts of MAMEUI. It is available as a combo x64/x86 app and is targeted towards Windows 7 (or greater) with leveraged features like Jump List support. IV/Play is decoupled from setting MAME options directly in an effort to future proof against the continual core changes that impact MAMEUI.
