EmuCR:FceuxFceux SVN r2268 is released. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

Dolphin is a great Gamecube(NGC) and Wii emulator. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games. Dolphin has been changed SVN to Git recently.

Neo SEGA4 Myth Menu v1.0

Neo SEGA4 Myth Menu v1.0 is released. Neo SEGA4 Myth Menu is the menu the console will show when you boot the Neo Myth flash cart. Code for the MD, N64, PC-E and SNES menus has been committed. NeoSEGA4Menu is MKIII/SMS Myth Menu. Supports running games from SD card on Neo2-SD and Neo2-Pro carts. Also supports running SG-1000 games and playing PSG-only VGM music files.

Jpcsp SVN r2356

EmuCR:JPcspJpcsp SVN r2356 is released. JPCSP is the most advanced PlayStation Portable(PSP) emulator, allowing you to play your PSP games on a PC. Even though Jpcsp is written in Java, it can already reach 100% PSP speed on a lot of commercial games... and the emulator performance is constantly increasing. Jpcsp takes full advantage of dual-core processors, matching the PSP dual-core architecture. Even a quad-core can give a small performance improvement by leaving free CPU cores for the Java JIT Compiler and the graphics cache.

EmuCR: MameUIHiScoreMicro64 1.00.2011.10.16 Build 597 is released. Micro64 is a freeware commodore c64 emulator. Currently micro64 has two different VIC II emulation modes: cycle exact (default, works fine) and half-cycle exact (next-gen, rudimentary implementation – currently damn slow).

puNES v0.39

EmuCR: puNESpuNES v0.39 is released. puNES is a NES emulator. Currently the program supports mappers 0, MMC1, UNROM, CNROM, but the sound is not yet available. It uses the SDL libraries and it works on both Linux and Windows.

MESS SVN r13053

EmuCR: MESSMESS SVN r13053 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

IV/Play v1.5.3

EmuCR: IV/PlayIV/Play v1.5.3 is released. IV/Play (pronounced ‘Four Play’) is a new desktop oriented GUI front-end for MAME™. It was designed and commissioned by John IV as a familiar feeling alternative to MAMEUI. It has a narrow and particular feature-set, is keyboard driven, and utilises many of the navigation and short cuts of MAMEUI. It is available as a combo x64/x86 app and is targeted towards Windows 7 (or greater) with leveraged features like Jump List support. IV/Play is decoupled from setting MAME options directly in an effort to future proof against the continual core changes that impact MAMEUI.

NEWS: FB Alpha NeoGeo WIP (2011/10/17)

Some preliminary footage of some FB Alpha NeoGeo WIP. Multi-slot and NeoGeo CD support have been added as can be seen in the clips below. There are some issues, left to resolve, particuarly with regards stability.

ZXMAK.NET v2.4.9.0 Alpha is released. ZXMAK.NET is the Free .NET ZX Spectrum Emulator, written in C#. ZXMAK.NET is an emulator of the 1980s home computer and various clones, that can work on various platforms with .NET environment.

Altirra 2.0 Test 43

EmuCR:AltirraAltirra 2.0 Test 43 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.

SSF Test Version (11/10/16)

EmuCR:SS EmulatorsSSF Test Version (11/10/16) is released. SSF is a Sega Saturn emulator for Windows systems using DirectX 9.0b. The current version claims near-complete implementation of the Sega Saturn hardware (not counting emulation bugs), and can emulate the Saturn based Sega Titan Video arcade hardware too. As with most emulators, CDs or disc images are not included and have to be owned separately. The BIOS is also not included; as of 0.07 Beta R3, games run without the BIOS however. The usage of BIOS files is optional but recommended for better compatibility, and needed for tasks such as management of the contents of the internal memory of the Sega Saturn, or setting the system clock.
