MESS is an open source project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

MaLa v1.743 Beta

EmuCR:MaLa MaLa v1.743 Beta is released. MaLa is a multi emulator front-end designed for all 32bit Windows operating systems (I have had reports it work fine on 64 bit). It supports the Windows command line version of MAME with XML ROM info (> 0.84), PC Games and all command line based emulators. You can easily make it run on earlier versions of mame (as I do) by using a XML file generated by a later version.

DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD. However, it is not restricted to running only games. In theory, any MS-DOS or PC-DOS (referred to commonly as "DOS") application should run in DOSBox, but the emphasis has been on getting DOS games to run smoothly, which means that communication, networking and printer support are still in early development.

EmuCR: puNESpuNES v0.21 is released. puNES is a NES emulator. Currently the program supports mappers 0, MMC1, UNROM, CNROM, but the sound is not yet available. It uses the SDL libraries and it works on both Linux and Windows.

DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

MAMEMAME v0.142u5 is released. MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. When used in conjunction with images of the original arcade game's ROM and disk data, MAME attempts to reproduce that game as faithfully as possible on a more modern general-purpose computer. MAME can currently emulate several thousand different classic arcade video games from the late 1970s through the modern era.

This tool will allows you to view, control, duplicate or remove your current plug-ins command text [vsh.txt, game.txt...etc] inside seplugins folder. The cool thing is you can manage the plug-ins through your XMB. I can honestly say this tool is better than current plugins manager that available on 5.50/5.00 Recovery Menu.
