RetroCopy v0.960 is released. RetroCopy is an accurate emulator with custom 3D interface for the Sega Genesis (Megadrive), Sega Master System (SMS), Nintendo (NES), Sega GameGear and arcade systems. It allows you to play the classic games for those systems on your PC. It is currently only available for Windows, with 32bit and 64bit versions available. RetroCopy is a new Master System emulator for Windows.

Demul WIP (2011/05/16)

Some new WIP shots, for this time from clean Naomi M4-cartridge dumps, not hacked ones, we still do not have decapped data from PIC16's, so emulation uses trojaned decrypted data, but as you can see romtest work as well.

VICE v2.3.7 is released. VICE is a program that runs on a Unix, MS-DOS, Win32, OS/2, Acorn RISC OS, BeOS, QNX 4.x, QNX 6.x, Amiga, GP2X, SkyOS or Mac OS X machine and executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C64DTV, the C128, the VIC20, almost all PET models, the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

FCE Ultra GX v3.2.6

FCE Ultra GX v3.2.6 is released. FCE Ultra GX is a modified port of the FCE Ultra 0.98.12 Nintendo Entertainment system for x86 (Windows/Linux) PC's. With it you can play NES games on your Wii/GameCube(NGC). Version 2 is a complete rewrite based on code from SNES9x GX.

Altirra 1.9

Altirra 1.9 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.

DOSBox SVN r3712

DOSBox SVN r3712 is released. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD. However, it is not restricted to running only games. In theory, any MS-DOS or PC-DOS (referred to commonly as "DOS") application should run in DOSBox, but the emphasis has been on getting DOS games to run smoothly, which means that communication, networking and printer support are still in early development.

Dolphin SVN r7546 is released. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a great Gamecube(NGC) and Wii emulator. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games. SSSE3 and SSE4 optimized are enabled in this build.

DeSmuME SVN r4012

DeSmuME SVN r4012 is released. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

Visual Boy Advance GX v2.2.5

Visual Boy Advance GX v2.2.5 is released. Visual Boy Advance GX is a Game Boy(GB)/Game Boy Color(GBC)/Game Boy Advance(GBA) emulator based on VBA-M, ported to the Wii and GameCube. The code is a continuation of Softdev and emu_kidid's efforts, and uses libogc and devkitppc.

MESS SVN r11555

MESS SVN r11555 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.
