E-UAE 0.8.29 R4 is released. E-UAE is an Amiga emulator, for the PS3. The ported emulator, features 68000 68010 and 68020 CPU emulation, aimga hi-res graphics (720x576), keyboard emulation and more. The emulator is compiled with the PSL1GHT SDK, so it will need to be re-signed for play on 3.50/3.55 firmware.

puNES v0.14

puNES v0.14 is released. puNES is a NES emulator. Currently the program supports mappers 0, MMC1, UNROM, CNROM, but the sound is not yet available. It uses the SDL libraries and it works on both Linux and Windows.

Dolphin SVN r7251

Dolphin SVN r7251 is released. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a great Gamecube(NGC) and Wii emulator. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games. SSSE3 and SSE4 optimized are enabled in this build.

PCSX2 SVN r4367

PCSX2 SVN r4367 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

RomVault v1.6.0 is released. RomVault is a new rom management tool. RomVault should be seen as an alternative to clrmame pro with some nice and new features that could make it perfect for managing large numbers of dats / collections using less time (one scan vs N dats a time instead of one scan for each dat) and giving you a nice easy to use GUI.

DeSmuME SVN r3937 is released. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

MESS SVN r10593

MESS SVN r10593 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

D2X-XL v1.15.133

D2X-XL v1.15.133 is released. D2X is a port of Descent 2 to OpenGL. It is an open source project and has received a lot of enhancements compared to Descent 2. My work on this project would not have been possible if hadn't been for the people who initially implemented the OpenGL and SDL code in D2X, so my thanks to them: It is for them that we can still play this great game on modern hardware. My thanks also to the many people who have provided input for this project, be it in the form of bug reports, great ideas, logos, encouragement, or other.
