PS3 2011 Preview: 20 Exclusive Games
As Jeff is fond of pointing out, nearly every major PlayStation series is making an appearance in 2011 — even Kratos is in on the action with his guest turn in the new Mortal Kombat. Add third-party publisher PS3 exclusives and upcoming PSN games and upcoming PlayStation Move games and you’ve got a 2011 that’s jam-packed with PS3-exclusive titles.
Here’s an updated list of 20 games you’ll only play on PS3 in 2011, using the latest publicly available information. Of course, schedules can shift and plans can change — as always, we’ll keep you posted. For the moment, though, this is where we stand for 2011.
Did we miss anything? What’s the number one game you’re dying to play? Let us know in the comments!

Fceux SVN r2088
Fceux SVN r2088 is released. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

You can easily make it run on earlier versions of mame (as I do) by using a XML file generated by a later version.

MESS SVN r9988
MESS SVN r9988 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.
