Mupen64k v0.8 is released. Mupen64k is a mod of the Mupen 64 emulator for kaillera support! It runs many more games with better syncing and way less delay unlike pj64k or 1964 etc! Mupen64K is a Nintendo 64 (N64) emulator based on Mupen64 for windows.

as much as i would love to use this i can't help but feel it's kinda pointless to add Kaillera support to other emulators when nobody else is going to use it, i mean have you seen the Kaillera servers? almost everyone is using the HORRIBLY OUTDATED Project 64k 0.13 even though they released updated versions for project 64k yet no one is using them, why is that?
ReplyDeleteBecause Project64k 0.13 is the original compiled build by hotquik. Everyone keeps using it so Gen, Henry, gaudy and my self decided to work on the emulator our self's through complex reverse engineering and assembly modifications.

can you release the source for both poject64k and mupen64k?

The project64 1.4 source can be found on www.pj64-emu.com and kaillera SDK can be found on www.kaillera.com

aren't you going to release your source codes since it is based on open source PJ64 v1.4 and Mupen64 v0.5?

I heard many people talking about GPU licence violation, aren't you violating such licence by not releasing your source codes?
Maybe some licence experts can advise.
This mupen64k 0.8 is far the best n64 emulator for netplay it's so smooth but whenever i exit the game in single player or on kaliera the emulator crashes everytime.This also happens with other players as well...It gets annoying having to restart the emulator everytime it crashes when closing the game.Perhaps it's a file inside the emulator causing this or another issue.Please respond for a fix or fix this issue please
