PCSX2 SVN r4950 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

Is it really necessary to release every single bit of change even if it is a minor one?

I am sure users won't mind if each release comes after a few days or when there is a critical bugfix etc?
Just my thought.

ReplyDeleteJust because u are running a few games doesn't mean you are testing svn build.
EmuCR should use a bit of brain before compiling svn build.
Look at this change - is it worth compiling it as a new svn build for users.
Users depend on EmuCR compilation because they are noob and probably do not understand what the change mean and will simply download every single svn build posted.
EmuCR - pls use your brain or are u interested in having alot of visits and download from u.
you know, your complaining an awful lot for something that is free...

I think highly of Nichole and the work and effort that he/she put in is most commendable.
ReplyDeleteBut the way PCSX2 is being released on this(sometimes more than once per day) is getting ridiculous.
Also, EmuCR is doing nothing about all this shit comments that are going on(fuel by their uncontrolled compilation of svn build).
So, yes, they need to use their brain.
