Wind just posted a screenshot of Alone In The Dark on the Dreamcast. Good to know that the project alive. Let us hope that the DirectX 11 renderer will enable the correct emulation of lighting (and shadow) in this great game ...

    lets hope the audio issues for naomi and naomi 2 are fixed! im glad the summer is over,back to emulation work!

    yeah Right. Demul's been "active". It's a dead project with 1 or 2 coders. CaH4e3 Stated once that we won't see a release before mid-2012. I wish the code could be added to MAME, since The Russians doesn't want to release anything.

    We must just move on. Nothing New. Last Release 01 september 2010, then the Leak (Showing a very poor emu) and CaH4e3 saying publicly that they halted coding.

    It's going the same way NullDC has gone. It's Better to forget about this emu

    @ 5 what on earth are you talking about? the last svn of nulldc was uploaded on august 21st 2011.the demul project was inactive in the summer,cause it is SUMMER,people have lives and things to do in the nice weather.

    move on? it is the only emulator capable of running Atomiswave games,and in the new version cave games,and you want to "forget it"? lulz@you saying the last release was Sept 2010 OH MY!! such a long time ago!!13 months is ancient history! it isnt MAME,you dolt,it has a much smaller team,there wont be every 5 week releases.

    They are awesome and best emulator of all time. NullDC is bored and dull. No promising come to NullDC anyway. This is a huge promising.

    Demul 0.57 r1096

    r1096 includes more Fixes again . Tested some Cave Games and all running fine like Ibara/Mushihimesama/Futari/Espgaluda II but Deathsmiles is crashing in Stage 2 :(

    No fake, all true... but I wonder, if people think this is such a bad emulator, why do they bother commenting on it? Just use whatever the fuck else you like better.

    Makaron is a great emulator, unrivalled performance and a very active project, unfortunately just *because* it's so clean, it takes a little longer to get 100% working games... some controls issues on many titles yet.

    nullDC is a great emulator, mostly for Dreamcast but many problems still for the arcade versions. It's in a transitional phase moving to an open-sourced project though, so it might take a while.

    DEMUL is a great emulator, it's compatibility is the best bar none, but it has some way to go in terms of performance. The project has slowed a little on the public side, and many people are bitching—really? About something someone has put *a lot* of work in and releases *for free*? I am looking forward to the next public release very much, but by golly, when I'm reading the shit some people post about it and its author, I understand how the coders could at one point just think "fuck this shit, if they don't appreciate the work, they can do it themselves."

    Really, all you nitwits who haven't written a "Hello world" in your life should just stop moaning, if you have to criticise be constructive about it, and REALISE that these are HOBBY PROJECTS THAT YOU DIDN'T PAY FOR.
