PCSX2 SVN r4856 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.
PCSX2 SVN Changelog:
r4853
SPU2-X: Removed the std::vector I used out of lazyness. The config dialog should no longer keep an ever-growing list of devices, and it has less potential side-effects if somehow the portaudio device list changes while the dialog is open.
3rdparty/portaudio: Removed debug prints on release targets.
r4854
SPU2-X: Experimental change! Lowered the lower latency limit to 3ms if the timestretcher is not being used. This latency will add up to the output latency as usual, but with a good sound chip this should allow overall latencies < 15ms.
r4855
Added "portable.ini" to /bin, so SVN builds will work in portable mode by default.
r4856

ReplyDeletesame shit over and over again we need pcsx2 for amd cpu too not only intel dont have money to buy intel shit...
ReplyDeletei already see some intel fans gonna flame me...
and need to fix god of war1 and gow2 i know already have fix but thats old plugin not new, we need a fix in new gsx plugin!
AND Sucks!
ReplyDeleteIntel = Thief
ReplyDeleteI really don't get some of you guys... What are you talking about... pcsx2 for AMD? And PCSX2 for intel? PCSX2 is capable of utilizing both AMD and Intel CPU power... It's not really more optimized for either (not counting in the instruction sets :p) as far as I'm aware. Now, Intel is generally more powerful (but also more expensive(plus MoBo's for new one are seriously pricey).
ReplyDeleteand I finished GoW 1/2 something like 2/3 years ago and only trouble I had was a bug on GOW2 (that's now fixed) where screen hangs at those three horses, and graphical bug (ghost) that is fixed by applying alpha hack. So.... Learn to use pcsx2 a bit better instead of just complaining.
@ Anon 3
I agree, Anti-Narcissistic-Disorder does indeed suck.
Oh I forgot to say that I hate Intel for only one thing... the sockets, I have to buy (quite literary) a new MoBo for every new CPU purchase, while when it comes to AMD... I'll just say AM2+.
ReplyDeleteno problem with pcsx2, fine work. Thanks
ReplyDeleteSo anonymous 2 is complaining that intel is shit but yet he needs one? haha you know there are really good pretty equivalent amd cpus that are less than half the price to intel right?
ReplyDeleteTHE REAL THINK IS THAT THE PCSX2 Tags CAN MAKE PCSX2 FOR AMD cpu because that very HARD AND THEY CAN DO IT ^^ last time dont be like that AMD IS VERY GOOD CPU AND VERY GAMING ONE AND 2011 GAMES WORK 60fps
ReplyDeleteBUT PCSX2 in AMD CPU IS VERY SLOWWWWWWWWW MAKE PCSX2 FOR AMD CPU OR JUST PLUGIN AND THAT WILL BE PERFECT FOR ALL THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteGoran H. : no you wrong if you using alpha hack there is no BLOOM effect in god of war2!...
ReplyDeleteThere is no real fix for GOW1 and GOW2!!!
@ Anon 12
ReplyDeleteIdk dude. I finished both GoW 1 and 2... First one hanged on two parts (some human cage and at the final battle) I used some patches/hacks to make it. And second one only hanged at the "sisters of time" and simple skip mpeg hack worked... other than that... ghosting WAS solved (at least in my case by alpha hack) I'm pretty sure of it. And it was some version of 0.9.6 (I played it when 0.9.6 first got out, stable version)...
Once again. I finished both games without any major setbacks... on 55-60 constant FPS without anytrouble on "shitty" AMD 6000+ (3.0Ghz dualcore that is something like 4 years old now).
So please enlighten me, in which way is GoW 1/2 unplayable. Try downloading different ISO's people. Maybe that's it. :p
