bsnes v080 Changelog:
This release adds low-level emulation of the Hitachi HG51B169 DSP, which was used in Mega Man X2 and Mega Man X3 as the Cx4 chip. It also fixes a regression in both the sound core and cheat engine. You will now need the HG51B169 data ROM to play MMX2/MMX3. You can get that here. I will not be including it with bsnes. Once again, Cx4 LLE could not have been possible without the help of Dr. Decapitator, Jonas Quinn, Overload and Segher. Be sure to thank them, please! Changelog: - added Cx4 low-level emulation; removed Cx4 high-level emulation code - fixed S-SMP synchronization to S-CPU on CPUIO writes - controllers now have their own threads and classes - serial controller is now emulated as an actual controller, rather than as a coprocessor - added link coprocessor module for special chip research and homebrew - fixed cheat codes that target mask ROM addresses [Cydrak] - fixed compilation error with the latest GCC 4.6.0 beta releases - added flexibility to XML memory mapping file format - updated to mightymo's latest cheat pack (2011-06-20) |

ReplyDeletesnes9x is better
snes9x is better?
ReplyDeleterofl BSNES have more LLE as your favorite ;)
snes9x is better ? Then this is not for you. You have no knowledge and concept about what BSNES is all about.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I am loving it.
No, Snes9x is not better.
ReplyDeleteSlow = Either your PC is old, or you were dumb enough to buy a Mac.
That is not nice to say dumb. Maybe he/she isn't aware of this program of accuracy emulator difference from Snes9x. As I said, he/she have no knowledge and concept about this accuracy emulator. :)
ReplyDeleteYpu gusy are a bunch of pricks , you will not notice the difference between snes 9x 1.53 and bsnes .80 the sound department both emus use the same the sound core the one made by blargh. low level emulation is what makes this emu around 20%-40% slower than snes9x depending on the machine, you wont need a powerful processor to emulate a snes chip because the snes is a 16mhz processor, even with an intel core 2 duo e8200 2.6ghz, you still get lag in some games for gods sake is a 2.66giga hertz cpu, laging for a 16mega hertz snes cpu, thats lazyness from byuu simple as that, byuu never care to optimize the code, in depriment of "acurracy" it sacrifices speed, snes 9x accuracy is about 92-93% is more than enough that you guys will never noticed the difference.seriously theres to much ass lickers here, bsnes is the best in terms of accuracy but snes9x comes close and i close.
ReplyDeleteand to close this, quite frankly, i dont see wheres the hype in this , theres always updates about playstation, playstation 2, gamecube-wii, nintendo 64,saturn, nintendo, gameboy advance,Ds, even for the psp and jaguar, but i dont see any of you praise the work of any emu author every day, but oh boy! when a new byuu snes "accuracy" baby is born, theres full of retards praising the "accuracy" of the emu, if every other emu author goes the way of byuu, in this day and age we , will not be playing past the sega genesis in our computers consoles or handhelds, the glitch and errors in this emus are minimal and you still can experience all these great system's
ReplyDeleteThxs!!
ReplyDeleteAt least no one is saying ZSNES is better.
ReplyDeleteInb4 people do that after this post.
fck accuracy I can play all my games on snes9x fast and well so nothing else matters
ReplyDeleteyou go fap to your accuracy nerds
yea fck accuracy who cares for a few pieces of crap games that need it
ReplyDeleteyou don't see people complaining about MAMEs accuracy as that is full of hacks
as long as you can play games is all that matters
Whats with the hate.
ReplyDeleteBSNES rules them all <3
