PCSX2 SVN r4630 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

Pls fix FFX-2. I only get 30-40 fps on my pc(i5-750@3.2GHz, radeonhd 5670, ram 4gb) at intro movie;and in game fps quite normal around 50~60 but sometimes dropped to 40. I use default setting, dx 11 hardware mode(interlace=none,res=1024x1024), no speedhack, auto gamefixes. i reckonize at intro interlace=frame, but in game interlace=field. that same goes to tekken 5. other games usually at intro and in game interlace=field.thx
ReplyDeleteChampions return to arms, Champions of Norrath and Baldur's Gate 2 are still incompatible. Half the screen goes black when you open the game.
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting to try to solve this problem, I believe that solving the problem will solve many other games.
I may found a bug,

It was normal in r42xx (i try r4237, 4271 and 4297, all ok)

ReplyDeleteVery good emulator. All games I tested run at constant 60fps in my Sandy Bridge running at 4.9Ghz. Even when I disable microVU speedhacks and use the best clamp mode it runs just as fast.
ReplyDeleteI guess now it would be better to focus on ironing out the glitches and forget about speed optimization... it`s very good as it is.
lol to #8 of course your going to get great speeds your running at 4.9ghz not everyone has a cpu overclocked that much.
ReplyDeleteOh and by the way ive noticed with the past couple svn's that the fps keep jumping back and forth, im playing final fantasy x and it jumps from 60 then to 55 for like a half a second then goes back to 60 so on and so forth its retarded i used to run this game straight 60 now its buggy like some other games that ran perfect before.
