GSdx SVN r4675 is released. GSdx is a GPU plugin for PCSX2.
GSdx SVN Changelog:
r4673
Removed vtune headers from the project and disabled profiler hooks in GSDx as we can't legally distribute these. To be re-enabled we'll have to find a way to do this without infringing on Intel's copyright.
r4674
Further to r4673 remove the jitprofiling.lib dependency when linking.
r4675
Fix VS2010 compilation.

So it is actually a downgrade due to copyright issues... To hell with it then.
ReplyDeleteCouldnt agree more with #1
ReplyDeletedamn... Does anyone think anything good will come with the next few releases?
ReplyDeletewith the removal of 'vtune' does it have an impact on performance for most games?
ReplyDeleteSo its faster? or WHAT?
ReplyDeleteremoving that "vtune" makes faster or what?
ReplyDeleteJust tested the SSE4 dll build. I'll admit my tests weren't too scientific but gfx limited scenarios seemed to be somewhere around 5% slower. Most of the time it didn't make any difference.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the main executable without vtune will make more of a difference...
??? for me It's a very very good update less glitch more faster 5-10%, but I have not an Intel And I'm in SSE2.
ReplyDeleteWith this, exemple I can play on SH shatering memories full speed. before with max hack It's terribly ugly and slow...Idem for all game.
