ReplyDeletenot understand why they add a lot of things but forget this emulator to improve it in terms of speed, the graphics are great already, does not need to be improved in question also did the sound is great, the staff working with this emulator these processes could spend more on this question of speed emulator, as many users as I download the emulator expecting an improvement in speed but discouraged to see that did not have any performace gain ..
ReplyDelete@Tad: It had been already said by the members of the DeSmuME team a long time back that there main priority in the development of this emulator is on compatibility, graphic & sound.
ReplyDeleteThere last priority in developing would be the speed. So, there is no use in complaining.
As in the question of Speed & Graphics, even though DeSmuME has the best when compared to other emulators, but it still isn't enough for many games. So, there is a need for developing those two as well.
As for the speed issue, that can be solved a little by getting a stronger PC.
i have a strong pc and cant get full speed in some games ( the ones that have heavy 3d parts)
ReplyDeleteeven in some 2d games i have a bit of slow down i have a i7 920 and geforce 450, i can play dragon ages origin, and mass efect 2 at max settings but cant get this emu to run at a decent speed
i can uderstand the frustation of tad and every other user
If you want speed, you can always use the no$ emulator instead. I personally prefer DeSmuME though I have to agree that it would be great if they improved the speed (the only real reason I have found to use no$ is speed)
ReplyDeleteI hope DesMume can read Nintendo 3DS coming soon!
