GameEx v11.43 is released. GameEx is a graphical DirectX based front-end for MAME, Zinc, Daphne, PC Games, and all command line based game emulators, along with being a good Home Theatre PC solution. It also makes a good CarPC and touchscreen frontend. The original goal was for it to be used on Windows XP Media Center and Arcade Cabinets although it will run on any version of Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP and Vista.For just $25 (USD) you can too unlock the full potential of the front end.

Theme/Skinning enhancements Now ALL modules can have a custom layout and background. Including MAME list select and Emulator system selection. Video backgrounds although implemented in the theme editor were not working. This is now fixed. New scroller object in the theme editor. Can have custom text or a news feed for each module or system. New weather object in the theme editor. See below. More to come in upcoming releases. Weather ICON New weather icon in GameEx which displays the current conditions and temperature. You can select your location by using the weather application, also accessible from the setup wizard. Its enabled by default but can be turned off. Other fixes and enhancements Fixes issue where you could not clear the playlist when Jukebox set to play randomly on queue end. New screen rotation available - Flip Y
