PCSX2 newdmac SVN r3884 is released. PCSX2 newdmac is a branch of PCSX2. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.
PCSX2 newdmac SVN Changelog:
r3821
newdmac: One brand new SIF, and several fixes to the core chain mode handlers, as I had made a fundamental mistake in the way destination chain mode works.
(Only IPU and some GIF tweaks left now)
r3823
newdmac: remove some unused files.
r3827
newdmac: sync with trunk (r3794-r3826)
r3828
newdmac: VIF / GIF work. Enabled the new microVU code for breaking execution on stalled XGKICKs (still have to implement the resume points).
r3830
newdmac: Mostly finished VU/XGKICK features and SIGNAL/IMR support, implemented SPR transfers, and started on the IPU interface.
r3838
newdmac: Redid VIF/GIF/IPU FIFOs, and did preliminary IPU/DMAC tie-ins.
r3845
newdmac: Fixed bugs in FIFOs and SIF DMA transfers. Emulator currently stalls/fails due to what appears to be errant handling of dmacInterrupt requests.
r3854
newdmac: more bugfixes. SIF working quite fine now, bios/boot still failing though on some yet-unknown cause.
r3859
newdmac: minor dmac register logging bugfixes.
r3883
newdmac:
* fix many bugs (mostly word/qwc size mismatches, and a few printf formatting errors)
* BIOS boots up now; BIOS clos works nicely -- memorycard screen exhibits errors still.
r3884
newdmac: sync with trunk r3840-r3882
(mainly because it fixes release build slowness due to logging)
