PCSX2 SVN r3635 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

ReplyDeleteshit thing only 20 with shadow of colosssus with hack i got 50 but the program lying its runing like 30 fps my cpu is 4 core amd. ati 5670vga
ReplyDeleteI wish you'll never get full speed and good graphic with your 4 Core AMD, stupid! You don't know how to configure it, how to ask about it, and where to ask about it!
ReplyDeleteYou will never learn.
I think the shadow of colosssus still has some problems with properly configured PCSX2 same ... such as slowdowns.
ReplyDeleteShadow of the Colossus has slowdowns on actual PS2's, I have no trouble playing it at full speed at least on the last revision I played it on.
ReplyDeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteIt is only and configure the rikirtig way.
Graphics, sound, speed, etc.
This PS2 emulator is not something bad. You are going to have and have a good PC too.
:)
Play ps2 games with actual PC is a miracle
ReplyDeletepcsx2 team have make a real GREAT work
stop complain
The PS2 hardware is incredibly complex and hard to emulate with tight synchronization between the different components, take for example the PATH-1/2/3 system for uploading data via VIF/GIF/DMA into the GS core. If you don't understand the PS2, don't post dumbass comments about it.
ReplyDeleteShadow of the Colossus is seems to be very GPU bound. If someone with a 3GHz+ Dualcore and fast graphics could test it for playability... I bet it will run quite good or even as slow as on real PS2 :)
ReplyDelete4.1ghz i7 860 and its still slow as hell :( ..never mind theres plenty of other games
ReplyDeleteTo the above: Are you talking about Shadow of The Colossus? If you are, that's just not possible. I have a Core 2 Duo E4600 (that's a 3 years old processor) and I was able to play it with a reasonable speed with most speedhacks on. It wasn't full speed of course but very enjoyable nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteI think most people with good processors complaining about the speed on some games are not running the emulator with GSdx... OR they are running it with GSdx in SOFTWARE mode! Change it to HARDWARE mode and see how that goes.
You who write comments about the fix you learn alsri and is really rough.
ReplyDeleteDo not play dumb
