PCSX2 SVN r3111 is released. PCSX2 is a PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

* SafeFree() macro changed: Remove null check on calls to free(); should be 100% safe as according to wx gurus.

Many small memoryleak fixes in PCSX2 (mostly related to newVIF's recompiler) and one memoryleak fixed in USBnull. Had to juggle around the initialization/reset code for VIF a bit to get it happy. This also removes quite a bit of redundant memory allocations and clears when starting/resetting the emulator; expect a small speedup on slower machines.

ReplyDeleteSynchronizing mode: Async mix - this is very useful thing, now i forgot about damn VU cycle stealing x1 for some games which run a bit slow (50-60FPS) :)
