PCSX2 SVN r3029 is released. PCSX2 is a PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.
PCSX2 SVN Changelog:
r3024
- Console TitleBar mentions how much patches were loaded (if no patches loaded then it doesn't say anything)
- Database key searching is no-longer case-sensitive (so for example: [patch = A1B2C3D4] is the same as [Patch = a1b2c3d4])
r3025
If a game doesn't have a serial code (homebrew, demos, etc..), then pcsx2 will search for its crc in the database.
Note: In this case you will set Serial = crc in the database (this should only be done when the game doesn't have a real serial code)
r3026
- Added the rest of the patches thanks to Shadow Lady and Refraction finding their serial codes.
- Fixed a bug in the database_loader omitting the last game in the database...
r3027
Added back 2 games that were removed from the database due to a bug i had...
r3028
Add 2 games to the database. Fix a Linux warning (non pod-safe object).
r3029
- Added eeRoundMode and vuRoundMode options to the game database (these options are only applied if patches are enabled)
- Rename game database to "GameIndex.dbf"

Когда можно будет нормально поиграть в Pride FC на этом эмуляторе ?
ReplyDeleteCyrillic? Seriously?
ReplyDeleteI know they just compile it. duh! But if no one tells them what happens to them when they use it how will they know if anything is wrong with it specify. Like r3016 softmode made my persona game play faster then in hardware mode, which by the way is soooo cool and thank you nichole! but r3023 made my game move slower an both modes and all of my other revisions move slow to. So I'm just testing them out and let them no what happen to me when I use it. Oh and thank you nichole for explaining where the patches are. :p Ok I'm stepping off my soap box. Some else turn.

Yes, speed seems to have gone down for me too with the latest revisions. The fps seems pretty much the same, but the movement itself (e.g moving the character around, animations and controls) feel much more sluggish than before. Dunno what's up with it.
ReplyDeleteYeah thats what is happening with me too. I'm not using any speed hacks so fps should be the real fps. I think it might be a bug running that slows down the game.
ReplyDeletemaybe you could work and create an gsdx sse3 for phenon II, I can only use the ss2 and it is very old and slow...
ReplyDeleteHey this fix my soft mode problem. Thanks nichole.
ReplyDeleteIts running at regular speed now. <:)
SSE3 is a set of codes that the developers have said won't provide any measurable improvement over SSE2, therefore they don't support it. They do support SSSE3.
ReplyDeletePlease, FIX "Area 51", "Ghost Hunter"," Dead or Alive 2"...really need these games
ReplyDelete..Please, FIX to the "Echo Night Beyond'', "Haunting Ground","SILENT HILL ORIGINS", SILENT HILL(Shettered Memories)...Please, Please....
