PCSX2 SVN r2756 is released. PCSX2 is a PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.
PCSX2 SVN Changelog:
r2753
GSdx: Slightly more sensible input layout handling. No functional change.
r2754
GSdx: Removed DX10 support in favour of DX11. I am told that this shouldn't affect anyone and it reduces code duplication. (DX11 was already missing some changes in DX10, I have ported them.)
GSdx: Removed OpenGL "support". Nobody showed any interest in getting this working.
GSdx: Removed PS1 GPU support. pcsx2 does not use this and it is unmaintained, likely broken, and frequently confuses intellisense.
GSDumpGUI: Use the correct export for the library name, was using the PS1version.
If any of the above code is needed in the future, we have this wonderfultechnology called version control.
r2755
SPU2-X:
Work on support for Wasapi's exclusive mode. Not enabled yet.
Also lower (/8) sound out packet size. Helps the timestretcher responsiveness and quality.
r2756
Prevent the WASAPI code from trying to compile in linux/mac, and add a setting to enable exclusive mode selection from the settings (.ini only for now)

tbh they shouldve kept dx10 and toss dx9
ReplyDeletethey did keep it, DX11 basically function like dx10 (without tasselation of course) and it will run on any dx10 compatible video card with maybe even better performance
ReplyDeletewhy doesnt the VSYNC option work? I use vista 32 and also even though I select fullscreen it always opens window first and I have to ALT-ENTER to go fullscreen and then VSYNC is off. I use the GSdx SSE 2 version.
