PCSX2 SVN r2711 is released. PCSX2 is a PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.
PCSX2 SVN Changelog:
r2708
Removed *.res from msvc cleanup script because it cleans *.resx too due to this: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q164351
Removed Release (no SSE specification) target for solution because I spent half an hour trying to work out why GSDx was failing to build because of it.
r2709
Small cleanups: Fixed a typo in HwWrite.cpp (could fix games) and removed double system reset call.
r2710
Only a small commit i know, but highly frustrating for Tekken Tag players (slows it down a bit). Im back! sort of, just getting familiar with the code again :)
r2711
Fixed small VIF Stalling bug which caused Max Payne to crash

This still has the exact same issues as all the other 0.9.7 revisions, nothing has been addressed. Just to reiterate; games not going into full screen even with option checked unless escaping game then rechecking it, Tales of the Abyss halved framerate, when exiting full screen all emu windows are ghosted onto windows itself and video sync killing fps compared to 0.9.6.
ReplyDeleteAlso, again, this is on Windows XP and I have a feeling PCSX2 is only being programmed with Vista or Win 7 in mind.
